Time changes all things. Life can be rocky but it is meant to mold you. The earth we see is beautiful but it comes at a price paid over thousands of years. Over time mountains form from the ground and gather sediment from the winds, canyons grow more beautiful as they weather with the elements, and new sands are carried to the beach every day to make a new scene. All of it is moving and breathing. Our life is much the same way. We have big movements and small. We move across the country for a new job, we read a book recommended by the New York Times, or we help a stranger find their lost child in the mall. All of these actions shape us.
What you choose to spend your time on slowly becomes who you are. Spend your time on good and uplifting things. I have recently started as a volunteer for a program called CASA in Dallas, TX. CASA stands for court appointed special advocate. This program is in place to help abused and neglected children find harmony with the help of a volunteer. I have much to learn about this world but through big and small experiences it will educate and shape me. Choose something small to work on and watch it shape into beauty and knowledge. Learn a language, help a friend, or strengthen a skill you already have and use it. Thanks for stopping by! To learn more about CASA in your area visit this link…
