For women, breasts are a foundational part of self image. Shocking, and maybe sad, but true. As a woman you are given messages all day of how your boobs should be and how they should be displayed. Some of these messages are “the bigger the better”, “perky is best”, and “the most beautiful women have large breasts”. I have small breasts, which doesn’t agree happily with the typical standard of beauty. I used to let this effect my self image, until I realized it was silly. These negative thoughts were all in my head. Who said I should have one cup size over the other? Why is a double D cup so much better than an A cup? It’s simple…It isn’t!
Every woman is beautiful just as they are. I would like to promote a little love when it comes to our bodies. No matter what cup size you are, if they’re real or fake, big or small love your body! Our self worth doesn’t equate to our bra size, dress size or even how photogenic we are. Our individual worth is who we are, and what we do with this gifted body we have. Loving your body creates a confident and positive you.
To feel confident you must start with your thoughts. Think confidence! Loving your body starts with good progressive thoughts.
How to make a friend out of your bra:
Confidence in your bust starts with the brassiere! While aware of my boob related confidence, I realized that my daily confidence fluctuated depending on which brassiere I wore that day. Wearing a bra that is too big will tell you “Hey, you aren’t even big enough to fill me out!”. This is a problem. You can’t have an uncomfortable, wired garment you wear all day talking trash to you. You deserve a bra that will sound something like “Oh my, how perky you look today!”. These complimenting Bras can be found below.
(1. You MUST get fitted. Be sure of your size.
(2. Stay away from all that padding. You don’t need it!
(3. Make sure it’s supportive and comfortable.
(4. Make sure you feel beautiful putting it on!
The Underwire Wonder!
Now these… I love! This design says to me “why keep up with the push ups when you can be original and go paddless”. Trust me you’ll never want to go back!
