Family Halloween Costume with Baby
Dress / Nametags / Sleep mask
We are definitely low maintenance when it comes to halloween. Jake and I have never been ones to think too far in advance for costumes or put a whole lot of effort into bringing them to life. We love the holiday and have many fond memories of celebrating as a kid. We love the idea of facilitating that for Jolene too.
This year, we have a whole new reason to dress up and have some fun. When I saw this baby girl costume, I just knew it would be perfect for Jo. Jolene has ivory skin and is lovely in a bit of tulle. Also, I knew I could hit the easy button for Jake and I.
With so much to do and such little time, I am always looking for ways to accomplish more without sacrificing it all. Halloween is the perfect example. We all are busy in life but somehow have time to prioritize costumes, candy purchases, and house decorations for the holiday? That is a little much. These are all fantastic investment of time and energy but they don’t need to consume you.
Our home is decorated for fall not the holiday and our costumes are super simple to order on Amazon for under $100 total. That is the efficiency I am living for these days.
This group costume works for a couple of parents who aren’t too enthusiastic about dressing up and want to keep their to do list short. If you’re looking for more halloween inspiration follow me on Instagram for another group costume coming soon!
