I can’t believe I am writing one of the last posts of 2016. When I was little my Dad told me that time seemed to get faster with every year that you aged. I thought he was just talking like old men do but he was right. Each year seems to slip away faster than the one before, which makes every second more precious than the last. Happy Holidays my friends. I hope this year has been a good one. I wish to share my favorite Christmas quote as we end this lovely year.
“This Christmas mend a quarrel. Seek out a forgotten friend. Dismiss suspicion and replace it with trust. Write a letter. Give a soft answer. Encourage youth. Manifest your loyalty in word and deed. Keep a promise. Forgo a grudge. Forgive an enemy. Apologize. Try to understand. Examine your demands on others. Think first of someone else. Be kind. Be gentle. Laugh a little more. Express your gratitude. Welcome a stranger. Gladden the heart of a child. Take pleasure in the beauty and wonder of the earth. Speak your love, and then speak it again.”
