I bought this cherry blossom kimono one year ago with eagerness in simultaneously planning a trip to Japan. Excitedly searching for flights and planning our itinerary along the island I dreamed of an adventure that would take me away from daily troubles and what felt like limbo. I was on a Tokyo kick eating sushi and researching passionately the best spots to hit from Tokyo to Mt. Fuji. This trip never took place. I am happy to say that limbo ended and the clouds then blocking my sun moved. I was then thankful I didn’t have a trip booked with all of the life changes that happily occured. I do however have a kimono for Tokyo during cherry blossom season and snow boots for an Iceland excursion. These travels will take place but it will be much more joyful that it will occur when I am not outrunning my Monday troubles. Travel is lovely and home is my favorite place. Nourish your soul and remember the clouds blocking your sun will move even if they are so slow you can’t see the progress today. Thanks for stopping by!
