With spring in the air where does black (noir) fall? Black is a lovely staple year round, complementing all body types. This specific outfit is made to flatter every which way using black as a slimming factor and the belt centered to bring in the waist and give the visual hourglass appeal. Accentuating gracefully as well as looking to spring with a warm touch of gold. The shoes are overly 70’s, which I love, and also give a seasonal sophistication. To advance the look with trendiness I added a red earring designed by the fabulous and quickly upcoming KENDRA SCOTT. If you don’t have her gems yet, she is an excellent step up for the wardrobe.
You don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars to look good, be smart and play up your assets while being frugal. This dress was on sale at H&M in my size so i built an outfit off of it. Adding the belt, which cost more than the dress, gave it a shape that will make you feel womanly no matter your shape. The shoes were my splurge but COCO CHANEL would agree that you must have great shoes with any dress and it brings up the value instantly. To shop on a dime and look like a million dollars: Shop sales, splurge on shoes and have a classy accessory always. And you can’t go wrong with some KENDRA SCOTT.
