I write a lot on being a “savvy shopper” and for good reason. Most days I feel I can be a bit of a shopaholic. Being a shopaholic is laughable to most, but is actually a dangerous problem. It isn’t bad to like or desire nice things. It can however be consuming and distracting. Money doesn’t always have to be spent to look good (it doesn’t always hurt lol). Don’t drool over the high fashion shoes and bags and covet because you don’t have five thousand to throw out on a chanel! Be confident in your style, and spend an extra five or ten minutes in the closet putting something completely new together! Invent a striking ensemble by using pieces you have had and maybe don’t wear very often. To inspire I’ve put together an entire outfit of OLD items in my closet. To start off with a swing I chose Boyfriend jeans, my current favorite. Then a clean and crisp white button down with some yellow embroidery. To top it off I paired a color blocked MERONA sweater for a little color and pop. And of course a wedge makes every summer look better. Try it yourself and create something new from old treasures!
