“A dream is a wish your heart makes…” – Cinderella. When I was little I truly believed that any birthday wish I made would come true. Around ten years old I wished too big and it didn’t happen, resulting in lost faith. Fast forward to age sixteen when I wished, with small hope, that a boy I had a huge crush on would ask me on a date; the next day he actually did! This made me rethink all my odds. Birthday wishes, shooting stars, and four leaf clovers are special. These wishes that rest in us are only part of the magic. I don’t believe that some unknown magical force wins accomplishment because of a candle blown out atop a cake. However, wishing for success aloud can only be the start of something majestic. Even Cinderella knew “A dream is a wish your heart makes, when you’re fast asleep.” this lyric represents only a beginning and Cinderella certainly put her work in when shew woke. Whether you are wishing or already working I hope your dreams are coming true. Thanks for stopping by!
